Transportation:

Once you arrived to Calgary Airport,
You can catch taxis conveniently from any exit from the terminal ($35-$40 to downtown) or twice cheaper
Airport Shuttle Express

The car rental centre is across from the arrivals level, beside the parkade.
You can also rent-a-car (cost varies).

You can take public transit (the only Calgary Transit bus #57 from the airport to
 the Sunirdge Station on the North east is available, from where you can catch  "C-Train" light rail transit to downtown).

To get to Banff from Calgary airport by bus, there are two competing services. The Banff Airporter (403-2762-3330 or toll-freee 1-888-449-2901) with 8 shuttles a day, and Sky Link (toll-free at 1-888-642-5252) with 6 shuttles a day. The cost runs about $35 each way. Both requre reservations of or the return trip from Banff or Canmore to the airport.
