Statistics on test scores

These statistics are based on combined data from lecture sections L01 and L02.

Here is a histogram of scores out of 57. Each star in a bar of the bar graph is one paper. For example, the first line says that 4 students scored 55, 56, or 57 out of 57.

Unofficial, approximate letter grade equivalents

These are UNOFFICIAL, and apply only to the mid-session test. I do NOT promise to use the same scale when we convert your overall course score to a letter grade.
SCORE OUT OF 57 APPROXIMATE LETTER GRADE EQUIVALENT

  48-57 A-, A, or A+
  38-47 B-, B, or B+
  28-37 C-, C, or C+
   0-27 D, D+ or F

Reminder: You must get at least 40 percent on the final exam to pass the course; to have a chance of getting C- or higher, you need at least 50 percent on the final.
