There were 148 papers written. Below is a histogram of scores out of 55. Each * represents one student's paper.

The sample standard deviation was 9.9 / 55.

The 75th percentile score was 42.5 / 55. (One quarter of scores were better than this.)
The median score was 36.5 / 55. (One half of scores were better than this.)

Note that the cut-off between C- and D+ is less than 50 percent. This reflects the fact that it was hard for many students to attempt all questions on the test in 90 minutes. It should be easier to get at least 50 percent on the final exam.

Reminder: You must get at least 40 percent on the final exam to pass the course.
