May 7: Announcement about Course Grades

Grading is complete. Final grades were computed as follows, where the course score is 20% labs, 30% midterm, and 50% final exam:

  A+          90.0
  A           85.0
  A-          80.0
  B+          76.0
  B           72.0
  B-          68.0
  C+          64.0
  C           60.0
  C-          56.0
  D+          51.5
  D           47.0
The course outline also requires at least 40% on the final exam to get a passing grade. Because the exam was slightly more difficult than expected, the minimum final exam score was reduced to 35%. Final exam scores should become visible on Blackboard and grades should become visible on Student Centre sometime during the day on Thursday, May 8.
