An introduction to switch mode power converters with emphasis on the analysis and design of low power dc-to-dc converters especially related to steady-state time domain operation; converters studied: buck, boost, buck-boost, forward, flyback; review of classical frequency domain feedback control; an introduction to state-space analysis including dynamic modeling by circuit averaging, a technique which is not well know in industry but provides valuable performance and small-signal stability information.
