1. Persian Calendar: (PerCal 1.04) This is an A5 size Georgian/Jalali (khorshidi) Calendar and System Note written to serve the needs of Iranians living abroad and want to have a look at the events in a Jalali (khorshidi) calendar while carrying on with ordinary Gregorian weekdays. The Jalali equivalents of all Gregorian days appears in Persian. To my knowledge this feature has not been implemented in any other available free calendars. Some of the main events that appear on ordinary Iranian Calendars are also included (this set of events may not be complete, e.g., events from Lunar year are not included). This set can be customized and a personal edition of the PerCal can be generated easily. You can add your personal events such as birthdays, main family events, etc. and print out your personal edition. This is another feature that none of the other calendars have. The source code is written in Perl (ver. 4.036/5.005) and a TeX file is generated automatically. I have used TeX (ver. 3.1415) and ArabTeX (ver. 3.x) to compile and display Persian characters. You may need a Unix box to compile it. Please read the readme file. This software is FREE in GPL terms. You can use it, redistribute it, as long as not intending to sell it to a third party.
