WELCOME TO ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING

The Schulich School of Engineering's graduate enrollment currently exceeds 1,000 students.

The Schulich School of Engineering has been ranked the top school in Canada for teaching sustainable engineering two years running. The survey of 37 engineering schools across the country was part of the annual Corporate Knights magazine ranking of social progress at business, engineering and law schools.

The department offers master's and doctoral degrees with specializations in computer engineering, electrical engineering and software engineering; over 100 graduate students are currently enrolled in the department:  MEng, MSc, and PhD students.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides excellent opportunities for research and full-time study leading to MSc and PhD degrees.

The Master of Engineering (MEng) degree is also offered on a part-time or full-time basis and can be obtained through either the course only route or the thesis route.

Research Within the Department
The electrical and computer engineering department at the Schulich School of Engineering is highly regarded internationally for its leadership in biomedical engineering, radio systems, software engineering, micro- and nano-scale systems, and power and energy research.

Funding for Graduate Students
Do you qualify for financial assistance? Graduate scholarships? All full-time applicants to the MSc and PhD programs are considered for financial assistance.
