UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT

  Software Engineering
The software engineering program focuses on teaching the skills for students to manage the development of large, modular software programs by applying best engineering practices. The program provides a slate of courses in computer software and hardware, software analysis, design, testing, and requirements engineering. Students may also choose a program specific specialization in biomedical engineering.
Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering
  Computer Engineering
The computer engineering program is similar to the electrical engineering program, but focuses studies on computer software and hardware, and in particular the interface of hardware with software. Students may also choose a program specific specialization in biomedical engineering.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
  Electrical Engineering
The electrical engineering program follows a comprehensive breadth of courses in analog and digital electronics, power, communications systems, controls, and computer software and hardware. Students may also choose a program specific specialization in biomedical Engineering, or energy and environment.

Students enter first-year engineering at the Schulich School in a common program, and select their departmental program choice at the end of their first-year. Find out more

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has opened a resource centre offering a number of student-focused services; the ECE Academic Resource Centre is located in room ENA 108.
